You know with numbers like these how can insurance companies NOT cover this surgery?? Just think of all the High blood pressures gone, diabetes gone, sleep apnea gone, etc. My Surgery date 12/27/04. Now minus 85 pounds...thank you Lord. Rita

I need to update this update. I got Ron home safe and sound last night around 7pm. He is doing well. Tired and will be taking Iron pills for the next 7 days due to lose of blood. When Ron called me and told me to pick him up he said everything was fine. Ron said they did not remove the polyp. I did talk with one of Ron's Doctors when arriving at the hospital and Ron's information was wrong. They did remove the polyp and they want Ron to see an upper GI doctor and have him swallow one those capsules that take pictures of his upper tract as they can only go so far up through the rectum. So the Doctor was pleased that I already made an appointment for Ron with his PCP. Ron told me everything was fine, we can go home and rest easy. I can't rest easy as it's not normal for someone to bleed like Ron did and I saw it for my own eyes. Once they rule everything out then I can sleep with both eyes closed. I got NO sleep yesterday at all as planned. We got to the hospital around 1:15 and did not leave until close to 5pm with all the darn red tape of paper work and they wanted Ron to eat before he left to make sure he held his food down.
