How much longer are you at this stage?  I grew really tired of all the things you mentioned too while I was at that stage too. (3 weeks)  Have you tried making the lasagne on EggFace's website? It's pretty good. Tastes just like lasagne without the noodles.

I've been really frazzled lately with wanting to eat meat, but being scared to due to several meat items getting stuck in the past.  We had rotisserie chicken last night, I ate it cold and it went down fine and tasted so good.  I plan to have it again for dinner and hope that it sitting in the fridge in a ziploc overnight didn't do anything to the moistness. I'm too afraid to warm it up at all for fear it'll stick.  So- If you're really wanting meat, try this type of chicken.

I'm so tired of mushy food.  I have come to hate scrambled egg.  I used to like mashed potatoes but they are not so appealing anymore.  Refried beans, been there...done that.  Soft fruit, eh, it's okay I guess.  I can't stand this mushy food diet.  I'm happy just to drink my protein drinks.  I realize I have to eat so my pouch can progress through the various stages of food and get used to new textures, but I really have no desire at all to eat anything.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  I have cried half the morning because I can't think of anything to eat.  It's taking so long to get back to better textures of food.  I'm really down today.

I'm a month out and I kinda excercise, I was going down to the fitness room in our building every other day, but then I started getting this weird pain on my left side, so I've been taking it a bit easier lately, although I think at my appointment on thursday that i'll be asking about it.

I'll find out how I will be reacting.  I start work again tomorrow after 4 weeks home.  I can start swimming again next week.  My doctor said not to do both the first week, as I will be too tired.

I am 6.5 weeks out of surgery.  I remember my first day home I went to the indoor track made 4 laps which took about 10 min and I was whipped.  At the two week mark I was walking 30 min on the track.  I started the treadmill at the 3 week mark for 30 min and found out the treadmill is much harder than just walking on your own.  By the 4 week mark I was doing 45 min on the treadmill or the eliptical and have been doing this ever since.  The machines tell me I am burning 400 - 475 calories.  I was told by a trainer that you want to vary your exercise methods to lose more weight.  So I need to start the bike also.  My doc said I had about 12 months to lose weight, the more exercise the more you will lose so I try to keep that in mind as a motivator.
