Gosh, Saturdays in "the good old days". In high school they meant traveling to parades and competitions for marching band or sleeping in late after a night out toilet papering friends houses. When our son was in high school it meant traveling to marching band competitions for him, and working every Saturday otherwise.

Now, no parades or competitions, just work. I go to the salon, Gary does his "guy" things. We have Sunday together, then I'm  off on Monday to do "girl" things. It works out well, neither one of us ever feel like we HAVE to do something we might not want to do because of the other one (although, we would anyway...lol). It's a system that's worked for us for a long time....27 years next Saturday. Hmmm, another Saturday thing!

I worked all day yesterday. Well, I should say I wasn't at home all day. My 9:00 client got her days mixed up, my 10:30 client didn't get a hair cut with her color, so I had a boring morning, then a two hour break before my next client. That one had a $20 off gift certificate, and the last one didn't get the highlights with her color, so besides big old breaks in my day, I made 1/2 the $$ I was supposed to. AGH!!!  Oh well, such is life.

Okay, off to do things. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, Miss Peaches. You are a dear to us!

Tammy, you are a thoughtful, caring, amazing, wonderful friend!  This is a wonderful idea!!!  I don't suppose we could talk you into doing this once a week for us, could we? If I do the daily Review and you did a recap, we'd be able to keep up on everyone and no one would miss much.  Just a thought, I know it would be some work.

You are awesome, my how we love you!!  Today has started out kinda rough. Mikey is having trouble with his vertigo, but seems better, as he is laying in bed now talking to the bird and letting her dance.
Going to Benton later to try and trade in Mikes saddle for a new one for state!!!  Getting much nervous about that. I know it will be fine, but Im still a lil scared, but I can do it.
Cant make the walk, as I am still in the brace, and not released to wal****ill after Oct. 1.
Hope all have a great weekend, gotta get a face on so I can go to town and not scare the world!!

Good Morning Everybody,
I do hope everyone is doing great today.  Remember when Saturday meant sleeping late or grabbing a bowl of cereal and watching your favorite cartoons, and for some it was the day to get your hair done.  Here's to a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Saturday. Enjoy your day my friends.

Still feeling a little punkish but at least I know why.  Turns out I have been battling salmonella food poisoning for almost two weeks.  The results got back from the culture today and they called me in 10 days of Levaquin and told me to quit taking the lomotil.  TGIF.  The cardiologist gave me a clean bill of health today too so everything is hunky-dorey.  He also took me off the Lasix and KCL so now I don't take anything prescription except for my happy pill.  Whoo hoo!!!
I have to go in to work some this weekend to get caught up but I plan to rest up.  Val is really down about his mother.  He needs some down time too.  I think we'll just put up a go away sign on the fence post this weekend.  I wonder if that would work?  I got the wash caught up this morning so I just need to work my way through the house if I have the energy.  We decided to let the grass grow another week.  Thinking of all of you.  I feel really blessed to call you all my friends.
