Topic: RE: One month out in Central Cali
Hi Summer, I'm just back to OH for the first time in a few years just trying to catch up with old friends and see what life is like on the boards these days! I'm 5 years out tomorrow and I live in Stockton. Please feel free to message me if you would like. I would like to make it a point to get back on here more often.

Topic: Looking to move to northern CA
Hi,

I am looking to relocate to northern CA. The Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon area is too expensive. Would like to find a place within a 20 min drive of those towns, that is safe and more affordable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Idid

Topic: Support group in Roseville, Ca
I was wondering if there is a support group in Roseville, Ca for either those hoping for bariatric surgery or those having it done already?

Topic: RE: anyone from san jose area about to have surgery?
Hi Joey, meeting the goal weight was the hardest challenge for me by far.

Funny that both surgeons in ssf have the same name. Li and Le..

Don't give up! I had really reach deep inside myself to find the strength to do notthingut b juicing and protien drinks for two weeks just to make my goal. Once he scheduled me for surgery, the first thing I wanted to do is have a burger and fries to celebrate. (true stroy)..LOL!

When is your next meeting with the surgeon? How much do you need to lose? Are you walking everyday?

When I started to excercise, I have to start VERY slow. I could not believe how out of shape I have become. Everything hurt! but I just kept going..

My surgery is in two weeks yike!s! Mayby you and I can pick Mario's brain together..

I also found a couple more people from San Jose looking for people to walk with. I sent them an email. Maybe we can really get a walking/hiking group started here...

I don't live in San Jose anymore, so I can't join, but I've got some suggestions for great places to walk in the Almaden/Los Gatos area. The Los Gatos Creek trail is good for walking or biking, Los Alamitos Creek Trail too. And Quicksilver Park is wonderful, especially as you get in better shape, and can make it up those hills! Happy walking...
