I actually offered to do that as well, I think it will be a very supportive measure, not just for him but for us too. He said he is holding a seminar at the Marriott Hotel in Trumbull, CT this Monday night...Call Erika at the office and let her know if you can attend. I wanted too but I am on Sister Duty, My nephew is leaving for the Airforce on Monday so my sister needs me but I will DEFINITELY be at the next one.....

If you can let me know too if he's going to be doing his own seminars, I would absolutely go to them to talk to the pre-ops as I've done before!

Not sure if you will see this before your surgery, but I wish you all the best. I have had several differrent PS done since WLS. You will do fine, what I found after abdominoplasty and panniculectomy was that after the first 24 hours the pain was bearable and was more of a feeling of extreme tightening. Wear you abdominal binder for as long as surgeon instructs and have items you will need at a level that is easy to reach. The drains are not to bad just keep them pinned to your binder so they don't get pulled. I did find that it took many weeks to get my energy level back up and that is normal. Get your fluids in and keep your protien up for healing. Make yourself get up out of bed every few hours at home and walk around, you will have to walk a little hunched over. I did have healing issues postop that took months to heal, but now after some slight incision revisions it looks as it should and I am extremely happy with my results.

If you have any questions at all feel free to ask. Also check in at the plastic surgery message board.

That I don't know. But Tim wants to get together with me tomorrow and I will ask him, since I'll need to do it, too.
