Had my surgery yesterday. Dr.A found a small hiatal hernia and fixed that. I didn't even know I had one! I am doing pretty good. I feel alot better tonight. I am sore and my throat still hurts alittle. Not really having any pain. Things are getting better everyday!

because you did it - I did it. I made the call to my dr.'s office for an appointment.
I didn't want to go cause I gained 40 pounds and don't want to hear it. But I have to go.

I actually have a date of October 20th... starting my liquids on tuesday. i just hate this waiting game with the insurance co. I hope i'm not doing all of this then getting denied.
I will let you know the outcome.

I'm pulling for you! I hope you get approved. I had a lot of co-morbidities - high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, high cholesterol, etc. I think the more health problems you have related to obesity the more likely you'll get approved.
I was told afterward that I didn't need the six months of PCP documentation that I was seeing him for weight problems.
Let me know when you've got a date.
