I live in Stamford and work in White Plains, so I pass Rye Brook every workday.  I won't be staying at the hotel, since I live about twenty minutes away, but I would love to meet with whoever is going.

Here is the copy from an email that I received from Kim Daniels, the psychologist that does the psych interviews pre op.

She's doing another class for those post ops that have regained weight...

Hello All,   Attached is some information on a group I’ll be starting at the end of the month for those patients who have had surgery and who have regained weight.  Please call me at 358-8760 or email me with any questions or to sign up.   I hope all is well, Kim
Need a Fresh Start??   Weight loss and maintenance is extremely difficult, even with the help of bariatric surgery. Many patients find that they return to previous eating habits and behaviors, only to see the scale heading in the wrong direction. This can be incredibly frustrating, but we can help!! The Center for Behavioral Health at Middlesex Hospital is starting the “Fresh Start" program. This is a series of groups for those bariatric patients who have completed surgery and have regained some or all of their lost weight. Information will be given on a variety of topics, including managing emotional eating, making behavioral changes, and dealing with body image issues, and plenty of time will be given for group discussion.  The group will meet on the following dates and will be led by Kim Daniels, Psy.D.:      ¨     September 23rd                                   ¨     October 7th and 21st   ¨     November 4th and 18th   ¨     December 2nd     The group will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Middlesex Hospital (rooms will be determined)You must attend each group, as the topics build upon one another. The cost of the group is $20 per session, with the requirement that you pay up front.      **Contact Kim at 358-8760 or [email protected] to sign up ** ***Your attendance will be held strictly confidential***      Fresh Start, Middlesex Hospital, Center for Behavioral Health, Outpatient

I go to Orthopeadic Associates of Hartford. They are at Hartfod Hospital and so far they have been good. Thinking about having something done with my knees and will be calling them next year or the end of this year. I did have carple tunnel surgery by a hand surgeon there and did have one of the foot PA's look at an old scar I had because of it being so close to my achelle's tendon.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Hello all,

Im posting this for my mother. She is in her late 50s and is having some bone issues. Shes been seeing Dr Hillsman, but that lady is med happy and my mother has stopped seeing her. All we know is that my mom has very low  bone density and her spine is curving. She wants to see another doc, but she won't go unless she knows how they are. Shes Italian, so shes stubborn lol but She thinks her aching bones are more than a bone density issue. (Especially since her father had bone cancer before he passed.)

So, does anyone know of any dr close to waterbury, naugatuck, or somewhere in that area I can tell her to look up?

Thanks,
   Rachel
