My family (me, my husband, my daughter) have all used Dr. Ehrlich (lap band). Him and his staff I found were very personable and easy to get along with. I would definitly recommend him! The hosptial staff were also very nice. Good luck in your WLS journey.

as I approach my two year anniversary..the hardest part for me is my head catching up with my body!  emotionally at times I am still 220 lbs heavier....I have been blessed with never really feeling hunger..althought I do have cravings now and again!  I STILL have not learned to eat slow...and YES...I still pay for it!  but I have learned how to eat healthy....and NEVER waste space or calories on bread....I love breadless sandwichs!!

the most important part...remembering YOU are WORTH IT!

WOW Nancy You are almost at goal. Great Job!
I am 8 days out and feeling much better. I agree that concentrating on getting liquids in while feeling crummy was the main challenge.

the first week...week and a half were the worst (from my experience)... it takes alot getting used to, and has a huge emotional toll..

For me it was the decision making process and the first couple of weeks trying to get all the liquids in. The good thing is that now it seems like a blur as I continue to have success.

Wish you much success on your journey.

take tylenol and pseudofed (the real kind that you buy in back of the counter and have to sign for) and it should clear up the congestion in your throat...

ice chips, popsicles, broth with unflavored protein scoop in it.

don't let yourself get dehydrated.

feel better.
