Topic: if its not one thing its another
First my doctor tells me he does not take my insurance NOW.. I get home from that meeting yesterday to be rushed to the hospital with Diverticulosis and they found a spot on my kidney..
Maybe its just not ment for me to have this surgery.
Does anyone know if you can even have the surgery once you have been treated for Diverticulosis???

No. He did not put my band in, but I did see him a couple of times for fills. I called earlier this week explaining that I had been sleeved in Mexico and she made an appointment for me and asked me to bring all surgery info. Dr. Ehrlich recently started his own practice so I suspect he is not booked up.

I am three weeks into the revision surgery. I had the band since November of 2001. Lost 40 pounds and slowly gained most of it back. In three weeks wth VGS, I am within 8 pounds of my lowest weight with the band. I am still figuring out how to get in protein, what to eat, etc. I had the surgery in Mexico, but I am going to see Dr. Erhlich in Trumbull for followup. I am particularly eager to work with a nutritionist. Good luck with your decision.
