Geared up and ready to fight:

Well I've been mulling, researching and reading now I'm ready to fight. I will be making an appointment with my Dr. this morning. Armed with insurance policy, New Start info and signed medical releases. I have all the criteria the insurances need before they will approve and I know there will be at least one denial since the sugery is not covered but there is this clause that I beleive I can use to fight. I would appericate any info you all have that will help me fight to get this surgery. Apeal info, lawyer info whatever you think I need to know to win.

I have a Dr. appointment this morning totalk about the requirments that New Sart has for me to meet. Friday I spent all day on the phone talking to insurance people and looks I have a real fight on my hands. WLS is an exclusion on our police whch means it is not there period. Oh I have the right to appeal but since our company excluded it I'd be appealing something that does not exist. So I asked the insurance people "you mean if I am sent to the hospital via ER and this surgery could save my life I'd just have to die because it is not covered? " Well you seeeeeee the coverage does not exist, it is not there, Your company chose not to include it."" So I die?!" I'm sorry but the coverage is not there. So how do you appeal something that does not exist?
