Calling all my friends in Chicago!

HEy all, My family and I will be in Chicago at the beginning of Aug. We have never been to Chicago before. I need help purchasing tickets to the White Sox game on Aug 8. Would someone please let me know who I can contact in order to purchase good seats to the game. I need 4 seats preferably together or 2 and 2 in the same area. Also, some hints on some interesting places to go and things to do. Is the Six Flags theme park still open? I know that all of the ones around here are closed. Please email me with any info. Any help will be a life saver. My husband will be in conference and it is up to me to entertain my son (17 years old) and his friend during the day. Thanks, Dee

Yes, Six Flags is still open in Gurnee and it also has a water park that opened this year. Now, where are you staying when you come here? That is what will determine where you will go and what you will see. There is a great way to see many of the museums in downtown Chicago with a "City Pass" $49.50 for 5 attractions. This is an adult price, I am not sure what the kids price is. You save about $30. Great America tickets in Gurnee are currently on sale at jewels for $36. If you bought them at gate, they would be like $54. Sox tickets if you go to a weekday game, you can still usually go day of game and still get bleachers. Again if it is a non prime game, meaning they are not play a good team. hope that help..dennis.
