PS Update...Holy Moly

Hi Everyone, First of all thank you everyone that responded and helped me with my pain meds....Whew, it was rough going this time. Here is what happened and why... I checked in Friday June 30th for revisions and to get my arms, back and lower face done. The surgery when great and there were no complications. My nightmare started with the **** poor care I received at Evanston's Hospital. They left me on a plastic garbage bag and didn't change my bloody sheets until my DH started screaming about it. No clean sheets, no cleaning me, no food for days, I was a little sick to my tummy when I came to, so they didn't want me to eat for a few hours but days later? They had me so drugged up I lost 2 days. I mean there were peope there visiting me and I have no memory AT ALL! I had people coming in the room that did not speak english and never helped me or answered my pleas for help. I never knew who was cleaning the room and who was my nurse. Then someone had the nerve to tell the lady that was going to help me wash the blood off of me that I was a difficult patient. When I went home Monday I had not eaten since late Thursday. When I got home the pain meds make me sick. So I went from being over drugged to nothing. I could not sleep. I lost 10lbs and got down to 110. Went to see the doctor and by now he had gave me 3 different pain meds. That is when I posted here for help and everyone was a great help. My friend Sandy suggested Touradol, anti nausau meds and sleep aids. After taking these for 3 days I feel much better and getting my engery back and have put on 7lbs. I also had one drain that leaked so bad my DH was doing laundry almost every hour. The Dr. sewed this up when I saw him. Dr.Fenner revised my buttocks, front of my LBL (this really pulled up the inner thighs that had failed) revised and removed excess skin on my abs. Refused to do my revisions on my breast as this would be too much. He was right!!!! He pulled all the excess back skin towards my sides. I did not want a scar going all across my back. This scar would show in tops, dresses, swim suits and all. So per my request he pulled the skin to the side. I have an incision on each side going down about 2/3's the way. He also did my arms. They are sooooo tight and no bat wings YES!!!! He also did my lower face lift. NO TURKEY NECK!! I was so sore, bruised and hurt. The first time I had no bruising and or didn't have any pain. But he really pulled things very tight and I am liking what I see so far. It's been 2 weeks and the bruising on my face is almost gone, stitches are almost out on my arms and tummy and lbl and butt is looking good. Oh, I didn't like my belly button, it looked like a wide mouth bass LOL My new one is little and oval shaped, lovin it. I have pics from the day we came home from the hospital and today at two weeks. I also have OR pics that will freak you out. I have two I can't look at. They have me after my face lift with my eyes open. OK, now I know what I will look like dead..NOT COOL.... Bare with me as I have not had the energy to edit them and post them but hope to do so by the end of next week. Do I regreat having so much done so soon? NO!!!! If I had to have all this done over several years I would go nuts. I respect Dr. Fenner for trusting me and my judgement that I can take it. I am going to need one more round but want to wait at least 6 months for me to heal and see what is what. My implant still moves and the amount of skin on the back was so excessive we may need revisions. But it's only been 2 weeks. I am soooooooooooooooo happy, even with all the pain, swelliing, bruising and all. Now if I can get this drain out next time and can't wait to hit the summer clearance sales!!! Hi Peaches, Thank you so much for the kind words. The first time around was a cake walk....this time I guess I had to pay my dues It's all going to be worth it to get rid of all this skin and be as close to normal as we can. How are you doing? Where are you in this journey? Take care, Kathy

I'm glad you're feeling better now!!! I'm getting down your way on Saturday July 22nd as I will be driving a stock car at Chicagoland Speedway!!!! Yes, I am fulfilling my dream to drive a NASCAR race car around a track!!! Can't wait!!!! Perhaps I can stop and see you afterwards. It's at 8:00am and I think the whole thing will take several hours. Or, if you want you can come see me drive! Kathy, I called Evanston hospital the day of surgery to post on how you were doing. If I only knew how crappy they were.... I am sorry the care was so bad. I am just glad it is all better now.
