New New New....I just started my journey for RNY

Just sent my packet in and got my appt to meet with my surgeon. I am so excited. I have been doing my research. Still have more to research. I just wanted to say hi. I would appreciate any helpful info or a hi back.

Hi there, I just started this journey also, I have my consult with Dr Oliphant at Carle in Champaign on Jan 29. I am both excited and nervous. I have wanted this for about 3 years. Good luck with your journey. I truely hope al goes well for you.

The Bariatric Unit at Carle is beautiful. It is only about 90 days old. They are so wonderful there. You will love it. Good luck!!! Angel

Hi April I am from around Champaign Urbana, Dr. Tull in Clinton is doing my surgery 1/31/07. Dr Oliphant took out my gallbladder a few yrs back. He's a wonderful surgeon. Janet

Thanks for the emails...My Dr. is Egon/Halpin. I have heard so many great things about them. I have a husband and wife couple that I know and she had hers in late december and he is having his tomorrow. He helped me with getting my letter in gear. They are the couple that channel 5 is following. Dee and Shelly I used to occasionally come to your neck of the woods. Shelly...your stats look great. April...I wish you the best on your journey too.
