consult Dr O

Ok. Went to consult yesterday. Seen the Dietician for about 20 min and the Dr. for about 15. The Dietician said that I already seemed to be knowledgable about WLS. (Thanks to this Website) Thank you to everyone who was willing to share info with me. Watched a short movie about WLS. I have to wait to see if IDPA will approve the surgrey, They thought this would take about a month. Then wait for a WLS date guess this could take longer. I hope the time goes by fast.

i hope that everything goes in your favor. if medicaid does approve you will you let me know and which doctors will accept for surgery. i am in the process of moving back to illinois to my hometown of oblong. do you know a tim meadows? good luck, michele

Hi, LMAO!!!!! Tim is my X husband! Small world, I am assuming you went to school with him. We divorced in 2003, but have remained "close". I am seeing Dr Oliphant in Champaign at Carle. Everyone has told me that he is a great Dr. and I know he accepts medicaid. He is allowed to do 2 Medicaid Surgreys a month. I am usually on the singles board, but check the IL one often.
