where can I go to get a fill, my doctor is no longer available.

I just had the lap band done, only to find out that the surgeon is leaving to work at a clinic downtown Chicago. And the other doctor at the hospital will not take any of his clinents. Now I am wondering where I can go. I don't mind too much about being self pay for fills, but would like to have a relationship with a surgeon in case something comes up. I have talked to my insurance and they dont' know what is going on. I don't like that some doctors only will work with their own patients that they have done. What about those who had their surgery in Belvedere, where are you going. Thanks so much, I am really freeking out about this, It took me 16 months to come this far.

They will follow up with other doctor's patients. They can also do fills. You would like either of them for continuing care, they are both down to earth and easy to talk with. The doctors were part of the WISH team where I had my surgery with almost 4 years ago. Their staff is fantastic also, each one of the girls in the office is very pleasant to talk with and is very helpful. The girls came over from WISH also. Get in contact with Barix as soon as you can and try to get a copy of your chart. There is a post several days back by **willow** that explains what is going on with Barix and how she went about getting her chart. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
