Well, today is travel home day from WI for us. :"( We leave at about 9am. We first will stop at our fav cheese shop that is just near one of the expressway entrance ramps. Very reasonable on prices. Fudge is 1/2 of what they charge in downtown Dells. Cheese selection is great and they have some great home made jerky. Then we stop at the Tanger Outlet less than 1/2 mile from there. Need some socks for Dave and a couple items from the kitchen store, small hand utensils. Pray for safety on our drive home because there is supposed to be freezing drizzle from here to the state line. Dave needs to be on a conference call at 9 so I guess I will be doing some of the driving when we first go to the stores. Have a great day one and all. Add to this post what your plans are for the day and week. What ya all drinking this fine morning? I have my usual - black java. Chris

Morning Chris & Dave - Stay away from that Fudge! I'm drinking a nice hot cup of coffee.. I will probably stop at Starbucks on my way in to work which is my normal routine until I give it up for lent. Yes, I'm giving up starbucks for lent. Stay away from for a few days, I may be a little grumpy. I'm not doing away w/ coffee all together, just not spending the 5 bucks a pop at Starbucks. I'm going to have my 6m0 lab work done this morning and then will be in to work. The next two weeks will be even more busier then usual at work as we have "corporate" visits over the next two weeks. I'm hoping for a quiet free day so I can play catch up at work since it's Presidents day, we are officially closed but was given the option to use it as a "floater holiday". I would much rather use the day later when the weather is nice. Have a safe trip home... Christina

Every once in a while we will treat ourselves to a small piece (fudge) from there. It will take us well over a week of having tiny slices off of it. Too sweet for both of us and I hardly dump. Dave dumps at the drop of a hat. No floater for me on Pres Day. My floater is American War Hero's day, Pulaski Day. That was another usless holiday in my opinion also. Our floater is dictated by the village and we get it either the day before Christmas or day after. Look forward to hearing about the labs. Hope you get a lot of work done. Chris

OK, OK, I did not buy any, tho I looked longingly at it. I bought additional cheese instead. That will last me even longer. CB

Hi Chris. Well, I'm at work thinking about my next round of plastic surgery. It's exactly 3 weeks from today! YAY!! Can you tell that I can't wait? I know that I will have a lot of questions for Dr. Madry this time around, especially with regards to the implants. I'm going to be very specific as to what I want and make my wishes clear. This week is not too busy for me. I have a board meeting tomorrow night as I am the VP of the homeowners association where I live. Wednesday, if I can get away I'll go to an informational WLS seminar my surgeon's group has and share my experiences with the group. The following 2 weeks will be very busy for me with all kinds of appointments from hair, ophthalmologist, getting a manicure, getting a wax job and going to a formal party on March 3rd. The last week pre-op will be the busiest ever. I will be seeing Dr. Madry on March 5th plus I have an appointment at Alexian for my pre-admission testing (all in the same day). Enjoy the day. Be safe on the roads coming home. I hate the sleet! Have a sliver of fudge on me today. Lucy

Hi Sweet Lucy..... I'm so excited for you. You have worked so hard and you deserve the very best. It's so good to see you so full of life. Looks like you're going to be going bra shopping to match all your new panties!!! I would be having a really hard time staying focused knowing that surgery is in 3 weeks. It's a good thing you have a pretty full schedule. Please, I know you are Miss Independant but....... If you need some help or just want some company don't hesitate to call. I will be there if you need anything. Hugs and kises to you my friend. Christina 630-440-4441

You are going to be a busy lady. I go see Dr M on March 7th for pre op for the surgery on the 17th. The weather ended up changing and there wasn't any sleet. that is what is nice when you travel with a computer you can check on line for those things and prepare accordingly. Yes, we were not looking forward to that type of driving, but God was with us and we got home safe and sound at about 1230. I ended up not getting any fudge, tho I looked longingly at it. I bought more cheese instead. They have some fantastic tub spread cheese and chunk cheese. Got a few chunk cheeses that we have not had before. Chris
