I HAVE A SURGERY DATE

AFTER TWO INSURANCE COMPANIES AND 7 MONTHS OF TRYING THEY HAVE APPROVED THE LAPBAND SURGERY AND SET MARCH 26th as the date

Congrats and good luc****ep us updated. I am still waiting on approval or denial from my insurance company. I guess they like to take their time!

Congratulations-on your date, I too have a date, its Monday 3/19, it's been a long wait, but it's now within reach. I also have Dr. Nagle from Northwestern. I have an appt, at the Wellness center Monday 2/26-a pre-op with Julie(nurse) and others.Have they set that up with you yet??? I am just so excited, nervous,and in awwwwww. But confident with Dr. Nagle. Again Congrats---and Good Luck.. Mina

Thanks Karyn, Yep it's true, I'm on my way, to becoming a LOSER......Plz tell me more about the Networking Meeting's-this is the first I have heard about it. I have been to 2 of Dr. Nagle's seminars, and a panel session, with post-op WLS patients.(that was very informative)----Looking forward to meeting you also. Take Care, Mina

Hi Mina ... that is the networking meeting, which is followed by the post-op support group meeting. Chances are I may have already seen you at one of the "panel sessions", there were a lot of people there last night. Best to you ... if there's anything you need, let me know ... if you'd like to get together before (or after) surgery, I'd love to meet you! Hang in there ... don't let the nerves frazzle you (I know, easier said than done) ... Karyn
