I have lap-band surgery on Friday the 2nd of March, I dont plan on spending the night , but just incase. What do I need to take with me.I am so nervous that I can not think. The only thing I can think of is my robe ,so when I get up to walk my back side won't shine! Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also any suggestions on a hotel near provena mercy in Aurora that will not leave me broke.

Hi Karen, Congrats on your upcoming big day. I had RNY so I had to prepare for a few days stay in the hospital. I too took my robe, which I'm glad I did, slippers or slip on shoes for walking the halls. Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, baby wipes. Since you don't plan on staying over, don't know if I would worry about the toiletries. Dr. Rosen is my surgeon also. You will be in good hands before, during and after surgery. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Look forward to meeting you at a support group meeting sometime. Christina

The most important thing is carmex or chapstick. It is so dry in the hospital you will be using it constantly. Also slip on slippers so you can go to the bathroom and walk. Also comfy clothes for the ride home. Best of luck to you!

Don't bother with the robe they will give you a gown to put on backwards over your other gown. Take slippers, chapstick, tolietries and something to read. Chris
