Hi...I'm New and Have a Date!

Hi Everyone, I'm Danie from Chicago. I'm 23 years old and finally have a date for my lap band surgery! I'm with Dr. Nagle at Northwestern and I'll be getting banded on April 27th. I've really had no problems with my insurance, which is BCBS of Michigan. They cover everything, no questions asked. I've been on a 12 month diet plan since last April, only because Dr. Nagle's office messed up. They called BCBS and got the requirements for Gastric Bypass, instead of Lap Band, and we didn't find out the mistake until just this week. So, I could have had the band for a year by now if not for that. I'm not too worried about it though...less than 2 months to go, and it will go by quickly now that I have all of my pre-op tests scheduled. Well, I just wanted to introduce myself! Hi, I am new here also. I am having lap band surgery this monday March 5th. I have United Health Care and they gave me no hassle at all. In fact after fighting with BCBS of IL for the past few years I just switched insurance so I could get approved easier. So, January 07 I switched and was immediately approved.
