Is there anyone on this site that live in or near Springfield Illinois????? I'm looking for a wls meeting to go to.

Hi! I live in Springfield. What type of group are you looking for? The lap-band group meets at memorial on Tuesday at 5:30. I think the bypass group meets the following Tuesday. Let me know and I can give you more info!

Hi! I am In Springfield Also. Memorial does have an awesome support group that I attend. They have both a lap band and RNY group. Also - I would be happy to meet for lunch or something sometime to talk if you need!

Well Hello! I looked at your profile, etc. and you have done fantastic. I love Dr. Hammer too. I had the lap-band in November. After seeing your results I think I should have had RNY! LOL! I am happy with the band, just seems such a slow process sometimes. My sister had RNY a few years ago. Nice to know that there is someone from Springfield on this site, too! I will try to keep in touch. It will be nice to talk to someone else going through this stuff! (more than once a month at the support group, I mean)
