THYROID AND LAPBAND SURGERY

HELLO I'M CONSIDERING HAVING THE LAP BAN SURGERY DONE. BUT, I HAVE HYPOTHYROIDISM AND HASHIMOTOS. WILL THE SURGERY WORK WITH THESE PROBLEMS. DOES ANYONE HAVE THESE PROBLEMS,THAT HAD THE SURGERY . PLEASE TELL ME I NEED TO KNOW . ? THANKS!

I have Hasamoto but had RNY and I'm doing just fine

I have hypothyroididism but don't know what hashimotos is. best wishes to you though. I have not had surgery yet.

I am hypothyroid and have Hashimoto's as well. I had Lap RNY in October. The surgery does work. I have found that I am losing slower than most, but I am losing. Discuss your concerns about your thyroid issues with your surgeon. Thanks Mary
