help
Karen -
I'm sorry I can't help you out in the food dept. I don't know enough about the lap band but if your having that much problem, I would suggest you call Dr. Rosens office and talk to someone. They can walk you thru your problems or feelings you are having. Dr. Rosen is my surgeon too and trust me, him and his team are there for you before, during & after surgery. Don't hesitate to call them, they are there to help you be successful.
Hang in there, it will get better.

Hi Karen
Dr. Rosen and Brianna can help you. Right now you are still healing. This is the part of banding that is referred to as bandster hell. You are still trying to follow the rules yet have no restriction yet. Keep p with your frequent small feedings. If you keep p on the protein, you won't be as hungry. Alos, those other fluids are important in this stage as they can take the edge off. I survived on sugar free popsicles. Also if you have a small blender or magic bullet, you can blend your protein with shaved ice and it gives it more more substance, like an icee.
Good Luck
