I'm in Alton but I used New Start in St. Louis had RNY on the 20 th of Feb. hey are great.

I am in southern IL and I didn't go to st Louis because either it was a huge wait (because I have medicaid) or they don't take medicaid. I went SIU clinic in springfield they charge you a ton of money and string you along me 3 years. I also went to university of Chicago and they tell you one thing and do another. They have a huge waiting list for medicaid patients I would be number 40 if i was still there. that's after 8 months of waiting.. Now if you have reg insurance they bump you up and it goes very quick. I am now going with Dr Frantzides who doesn't take medicaid so I have to pay cash for his fees and then all the hospital fees are covered by medicaid. I don't know your insurance but if it is private you want to find out what they require before you start and make sure you do it exactly so they can't deny you. best of luck with whoever you go with. and keep us updated.

Ahh, this is what I'm afraid of! I do not want to go all the way to Chicago, it's just too far from home.
