'Mornin Illinois

Well, yesterday was not too bad as long as I took my pain meds right on time at the 4 hour mark. I was going a little stir crazy during the day and I went out for a short walk, just 4 houses down and then back. It was just enough time to get some fresh air. I woke up this morning unknown to me at 3:45 because I heard my DH get up to go potty. I thought I had slept the whole night and it was 6:30. Ha, I was surprised when I finally looked at the clock. When I was finally able to reach over and get my pain meds and take them, then they took hold I was able to get up and walk around a little. Well, I am going to make myself some coffee, clean up and then eat breakfast. Have a great day. Chris

Good mornng Chris. I had a wonderful day yesterday. Started out by going to church, isn't it wonderful what that can do for you. Today I am being lazy, usually up by 5, and here it is 10 till 7...lol I go back to my plastic surgeon today for a check up, I will let you all know how it goes. Have a wonderful day!! Dee

Good morning Chris. Yup, take those pain pills! I'm back at work today taking it slow and easy. I'm ready to pop a pill right now. I hope to get my drain out today. Not sure. Tomorrow I have an appointment with Dr. Madry at his office in Barrington. I couldn't get in to see him today and he's booked up solid on Wednesday. Take care my dear friend! Hugs, Lucy

I sure hope Andrea can get me in on Wed. for my first PO apt. I do not want to wait one more day beyond that to put on a fresh binder! Man this one itches already. I would like to take it off to put a tee shirt on underneath it. CB

Hi Christine. Good luck with getting in on Wednesday. I hear that he has a lot of cases this week. Today Andrea was telling everyone that he was booked solid on Wednesday. He even changed his hours on Thursday to accomodate another case. I had a 3:30 appointment and got bumped to 5 p.m. I don't like having to drive to Barrington - I haven't been driving yet, but I have no choice. No one can take me there. Now it's later in the day. Even worse! I hear you about the itching. I've been itching all week! Take care! Lucy

I got in but I know that I am going to feel rushed and will not be able to ask all my questions. They usually get the newest PO patients in for the first appointment. That man either needs a partner or needs to stop taking on so many patients. I am worried about him. Chris

I pretty much stayed in the house today. I usually get really tired by the Tuesday after my surgery. I slept most of my afternoon away, got up and vacuumed and washed the kitchen floor then made a chicken pasta salad for dinner. The floor really did not need to be washed, I just wanted to use my new self propelled Dyson. I have the cleanest floors now. Chris
