A question for the ladies

Have any of you had open RNY and then had a hysterectomy? I am having one on 4/3 and I have talked to one lady who said that the recovery from the hysterectomy was much worse than the RNY. Anyone? Any advice? Thank you! Nancy

I have not had WLS yet. Hoping to soon. Have they said if they are going to open you up for surgery or are they doing it lap? When I had mine they did it lap and removed everything vaginally. I didn't think it was bad at all. About like an easy childbirth. (If there is such a thing). I don't know if the RNY complicates things or not. Good luck with your surgery.
