Good-Bye For Awhile

Tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. the limo will pick me up and take me to O'hare for the start of a 2+ week vacation. My sister and I are flying to Houston to visit our baby brother and then on Monday, we drive to Galveston and will leave on a 6 day cruise to Mexico When we return my sister and I will drive down to San Antonio for a couple of days to tour the Alamo and shop the Riverwalk. I am so looking forward to the warmer weather the the possibility of getting some swimming in. What cruise line are you going out on? My husband and I went the first Sat. of '06 on the Grand Princess out of Galveston. We went down a couple days earlier and walked the old town area and then some friends of ours had a van for 2 days and the six of us ventured out a little further the second day we got down there. There is a lot of history in Galveston and in the old town area, cute boutiques also. I think that Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribean and some others go out of that port. We weren't that crazy about the Western Caribean where our cruise went to. We did enjoy Belize and our Mexican cooking class that we went to in Cozumel. Umm, got to eat what we made. The hurricane (Hurricane Rita) devastation was still very evident when we were there. Chris
