INSURANCE COMPANY WILL NOT RETURN CALL

I just got off the telephone with my Dr.s office, they are unable to get BCBS , to call them back! Should I try to get hold of them? I was hoping this wouldn't go on to long, now not sure. Lisa

I have always found that it is the easiest to get ahold of BCBS early in the morning right after they have opened their offices in Chicago, so that means right at 8am CDT. your doctor's office may need to get ahold of a department manager to get down to business with them. Chris

I work in the health insurance business. Try one more time making a complaint/grievance through customer service regarding the problem with the return calls. Document that call. THEN report themto the state insurance commission if you want to see scurrying! Works everytime. Not only do they have to respond to you within certain timframes, they must explain their behavior to the insurance commission. GOOD LUCK! jeannine
