Silver Cross Hospital

Anyone have any experience with this hospital? If so please give me your opinions (good or bad). I am not thinking in terms of WLS, just as a hospital in general. Thank you!

Silver Cross is a great hospital. They also have a very good trauma center. I live in MOkena also, and have lived my whole life in the Mokena/New Lenox area. I used to work at Silver Cross and it is a great hospital. I am going to try going to their support group tomorrow night, even though I had my surgery at UIC. My husband is considering having surgery at Silver Cross. My son was hospitalized there a couple of times and his care was excellent (he had asthma). They are probably the best choice for care in our area. Do you have a place you work out in mokena? I need to start excersizing, and having a tough time finding a place (of course, there are plenty, I just need to motivate myself!) Sandy

Nancy, my son had surgery at Silver Cross when he was 3 months old. It was a very nice experience. The hospital itself was nice and clean and the staff was VERY friendly. They took very good care of my son and made sure we were comfortable. I don't have any complaints. I would definetely recommend it. Mellisia
