Hi, I've finally admitted that losing more weight or even more exercise will NOT get me to the point that clothes fit properly. The more I lose, the more the ribs in my upper chest stick out, and my twig arms get even smaller. On the other hand the padding on my hips/thights won't budge. I'm an 8 top, 12 bottom. So, I'm starting to look into BL/BA, and lipo of hips and thighs. I dont need a TT, it's nice and flat with only a little sag. I work out regularly cardio and weights. My overall skin tone is excellent. I'd love recommendations on Plastic Surgeons in the Chicago NW suburbs - I need the best breast guy/gal around. Also for those of you who have been there, silicone vs saline, under vs over, high vs low profile. I'm currently a 34B and going for balance and would prefer to do this just once. I'm worrried about rippling or looking fake. Thanks for your advice, Kami 5'8" 274/153 at goal

Kami, what suburban area are you in? Like I live near Schamburg so if I recommend my PS it might not work for you if you are say in Evanston. I have had several procedures done but my doctor is in Elk Grove Village and also has an office in Barrington. I am not sure if he is the best around but I like him and has done good work on me. Hi Kami. I had the same plastic surgeon as Chris B. He's the best. I've had the LBL, thighplasty, brachioplasty, and breast lift with augmentation. His name is Dr. Stephen Madry and as Chris said, he has offices at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village and an office located at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. He also does surgeries a****ertower Place Surgicenter. I saw 3 plastic surgeons for consult and decided upon him. I recently had my brachioplasty and breast lift with augmentation (tomorrow will be 3 weeks). My BL/BA was complicated because when I had my breast reduction 5 years ago, another plastic surgeon had removed by inframammary folds. Why? Who knows. Well, pre-op my ps first thought he would use the silicone round mid profile implants. Then I had called the office about something, and the manager told me that Dr. Madry wanted to talk to me. First I was scared because I thought they found something in my pre-op labs. That wasn't the case. He told me that he was thinking about the implants and thought about pehaps going with the anatomically correct ones. I felt even more assured because he was thinking about what would be the best for me. He wasn't just thinking about having another case and the money. He was thinking about me as a human being. That really reassured me. The day of surgery he brought both types of implants. He said that he would have to determine which one would be the best once he got in and see what is going on. He asked for my trust and confidence in him. I did trust him to make the right decision. I landed up with the round ones. We'll see how it works out. I started out as a 34B and now hopefully temporary, am wearing a 36C. It takes a couple of months before all the swelling goes down and the implants are in the final position. I sort of miss being small so it's an adjustment for me. From my reading and a friend on the plastic surgery website, I decided against saline implants because of the rippling effect that is more prominent with saline implants then silicone. Silicone has a much more softer and natural feeling. Dr. Madry does a lot of plastic surgery for patients who have lost a lot of weight. He is honest in what he can reasonably do for you. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers your questions. I found it very helpful to write my questions down before my visit so that I wouldn't forget to ask. He is very busy and some of the time, his office appointments run late(approximately 1 hour). But he is worth the wait in my opinion. I just adore him and wouldn't consider to go to anyone else. Once, I went to another plastic surgeon for a consult who was located in Inverness and had to wait 4 hours. I would never consider going to him as a patient. That was ridiculous. I found out that it was a regular occurrence with him. His patients would sign in and then leave and come back later. Well, I had nowhere to go so I had to stay and wait. If you have any another questions, please feel free to email me. Best wishes in your search! Lucy
