One Step Closer

Tomorrow is my big day. I have started my bowel prep and reality has set in that this surgery is going to happen. Today is my birthday and tomorrow is my "rebirthday." I am surprisingly calm ,but also petrified.. I can't wait to join all you wonderful people on the loser's bench. Reading your posts have taught me so much. I hope I can be an inspiration to those coming up after me. Also, a special thank you goes out to Lucy M for her kindness. Shar

Shar, I was in a meeting all morning and just got back from the hospital. I was thinking about you this morning! Yeah, I can remember my day before surgery. I was on clear liquids and so hungry. I had to start my bowel prep at 2 p.m. Yuk! By the evening, I was ready for my surgery. I'm here for you - whatever it is. If you just want to talk - I'm here to listen. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery! See you on the losing side Lucy
