Happy Thursday Morning to everyone

Well, the rip and burn of the DVDs was not too bad. The other girl in my office had some notes scratched down, a bit unusual for her. She usually also acts like you are disturbing her if you even ask one tiny question. She is one of those people that thinks that everyone is disturbing her and she cannot get her work done. The rest of us cannot get it through her head that interruptions are part of EVERYONE'S work day. Not much on the agenda today. Have some catch up things going on then off to a doc apt and support group this evening. What is your day going to be like? Chris ps PS apt yesterday went great, I got to LOOSE the binder and do not have to wear it anymore. Now, if the swelling would just go away, jeez. I tried on a couple of outfits for Easter dinner and they were tight and they used to be loose last year.

Happy Thursday morning to you too Chris! Yesterday I had my appointment with our favorite doc. I was surprised that the office was nearly empty! He is pleased a*****h with my results. My arms are my favorite! I asked him about the implants. Found out that the left breast is a bit larger than the left. He had taken off some breast tissue from the left, but I guess not enough. I will need to decide later on either removing more tissue on the left or get a bigger implant on the right to make them equal. I'm thinking about removing more tissue. Of course, he wants to put in a bigger implant on the right. We discussed the bra sizes and issues I had. He suggested that I try a 38B instead of a 36C. I quite didn't fill out the C cup. He had me put on my bra and then checked me out. He said I can exercise again - no restrictions. I have to wear my underwire bra 24/7 and my compression sleeves for my arms. I don't have to see him for another month. So far, so good. No seromas! Incision lines are neat, clean and flat. I went shopping later that evening and tried on about 8 different underwire styles in a 38B. I think he was right on target! I found one that was comfortable and fitted a lot better. I bought two of them - one to wear and one to wash in between. I am happier that I am back to a B cup again. He said I am still swollen and that will take some time for the swelling to go down. My left breast is still higher up. He told me I could start massaging them now. Today I am going to my mom's house to water her plants, get gas for the car, then have dinner. I am coming to the support meeting tonight and can't wait to see you again! See you tonight! Hugs, Lucy

By the time I got to his office at 615 it was the same way, empty. I mentioned it to Andrea and she said, Oh, great now I was going to Jinx it and the place would fill up! I got to meet Robin's mom and poor Robin has strep throat. She was miserable, poor thing. Dr M is such a sweetie and so observant when it comes to what is going on with our particular bodies, love that man. I need to go back on Wed. because he is working with my new belly button and he is keeping tabs on it to make sure that it scars over the correct way. He repacks it with a new dressing each time. So far it looks great and seems to be healing the way it should. He just exclaimed over how my incisions are healing (which they are), mentioned to me to buy some sexier items of clothing, (sic). I told him it was a stretch for me to purchase what I did, so it will take me a while before I am comfortable to go into "Vickie Secrets" and make the big plunge for something there. He is so good for your ego. Him and I talked about sprucing up my thighs next year, hopefully that will be the last time I need to have anything done. He did them last year but I think they need to be tighter and he agreed that a little lipo and a tightening of the incision lines would give me the look I am trying for. I feel so liberated without having a binder on anymore and lighter. I mentioned to the girls at the office that my friend Lucy was into the office to see them earlier. And they just looked at me dumbfounded, like how do you know her? I mentioned OH and then they understood. They think that you are "such fun"! It will be good to see you tonight also. Good Morning everyone! Happy Thursday. I'm off work for the next four days. Today I'm working around the house and playing on the internet My stepdaughter and niece will be flying in from MD tomorrow. We will be on a mission to find a prom dress for my stepdaughter. I'm sure I won't have any hair by the time Monday comes. I get stressed out trying to buy my daughter clothes. Our taste are soooo different. Oh well, we will make the best of it.
