LADIES ONLY - update on me
The Prempro probably has made my hormones overactive, therefore the small bleed. The ultrasound came back normal (uterine lining was a little thin tho, probably my age because I had been told in the past that it was thin). No need at this time for a biopsy or anything like that. Doc is going to keep a "wait and see" approach to the whole thing. He is very conservative in his approach to a person's health care and the expense. I need to keep a diary of any "incidents" of bleeds in the next three months then I will call him. If then there is still significant bleeds then he will order a biopsy.
All in all it is great news, just frustrating that I need to keep fem. hygene products on hand and in the purse. I thought that 5 years out in menopause would have taken care of that problem. Oh, well it is a small price to pay, better this than a hysto.
and doing the happy
Christine

Chris, I'm happy for you. What great news! I know it can be annoying to go through the next three months, carrying fem products with you.
I had a hysterectomy when I was younger, at 31! I had fibroids the size of a 3 month fetus. They had no choice but to do a hyst. The tumor was way too large to dissect it and maintain my uterus.
Take care and thanks for the update!

Were you able to pick up your aunt at the airport without her being too delayed? Hope she was not too late.
I just got back from seeing our fav PS. That man is so good for my ego. He said I needed to buy tighter clothes!
He has no clue how hard it is for me to even buy somewhat stylish clothing; I still gravitate to the frumpy section. I did have on a cute little top and hip hugging jeans. I told Robin not to get a gown out because I wanted to stay in what I had on because I finally was not in sweat pants. He made me put a gown on anyways, I am not sure why he always takes it off to look at his handiwork. My belly button is coming along, next week Robin will take out the sutures. I no longer have a dressing shoved into it, just a band aid over it.
Need to run and get something to eat. I hardly ate today because I was so uptight over the earlier apt.

Hi Chris. I was able to pick up my aunt from the airport. Actually she was lucky as the plane came in early! We had a harder time getting to my sister's house with all the snow and construction in the area.
Gotta love Dr. M. I always look forward to our visits and pick out special underwear, sexy and cute to wear
I know that is naughty, but it is a lot of fun! No one else gets to see me that way, at least for now (blushing here!)
You're right about the paper gown. Once he's in the room, off it comes anyway! It becomes awkward and in the way. I land up dropping it either on the floor or on the chair. Sometimes he walks in the room while I'm getting undressed too.
Tighter clothes can make you look smaller! I think it is a comfort issue.
I'm happy that your belly button is coming along, just in time for summer!
Definitely get some food for your pouch!
Thanks for the update and info on our favorite doc. I have another 3 weeks before I see him.
