OK - here goes. The date I selected is Sunday, May 6th from 2-5 PM. I know that not everyone will be able to make whatever date that I set. There will be another one when someone else steps up to the bat and will be a hostess. If I set it too far in the future then people may forget and or possibly have other plans already. I am going to make a couple high protein snackie thingys. I do not keep soda/pop in the house so if someone would like to bring that I will take you up on the offer, that is if any of you drink soda/pop. Some doctors let you and some do not. If anyone also would like to bring a snack let me know.
I would like to keep it to pre op and PO patients. Some people might not be comfortable having non ops present because they are private people. If you do not drive then my all means you may have whoever drive you and of course they are welcome to stay. I am sorry I did not know how to phrase this other than the way I did. Please do not be angry with me on this. I have a couple PO friends that I am inviting and I know that they have not told hardly a soul about their surgery. I would like to have the anmenity that all deserves.
We can have a table for a clothing exchange if you would like. Please let me know if this would be something that others might be interested in. I can have a table ready to put everything on in my 3 season room. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can utilize it. Otherwise I can start the electric space heaters out there. It gets pretty warm in the room with just the sun pouring in.
Just PM me and I will give you my address for you to run a mapping program on. I will also give you my phone number if you have a problem finding your way to my house.

I'll look to see if that date is good for me. If I'm able to go, I'm willing to bring some drinks and snacks. I have some clothes that don't fit me any more, and I won't mind bringing. Most of them are from CJ Banks and New York and Co. It seems like most people you guys chat with are po people, are you sure you don't mind us pre op people coming? All of you guys seem SOOO nice. Thanks for putting this all together. At some point, can someone tell me how to PM someone? Is it in there profile? I hope everyone is having a good week! What a busy day it was for me!!! It's my daughters 5th birthday. I took her to school, picked her up from school, took her to gymnastics, then soccer, then we went to dinner for her birthday! Gee- I wonder why she came home got into her pj's on, and fell right to sleep!!!!

Of course we do not mind if pre ops come, that is why I put that in the message. How else are you going to learn but thru this site or in person? We all love sharing with pre ops because we were there at one point also.
To PM - there is a small thin box just below the two blue boxes. There is an arrow that is normally pointing up, click that and you will see several options. One is my messages, click that and then click new message on the right side. There is a drop down box for you list of friends, click which person you want to send to if they are in your list of friends OR go to the person's profile and click the link for sending a personal message to them. There is another way and you can click in a post that you are reading there will be an option to contact them. Look at the options below my post or your own. You will automatically send an e-mail for the person to read their personal messages at the top of the OH screen or you can read it via the email that is sent to you. You are given a link to click. i will send you one and let's see if you can find it.
