Good Morning Illinois!
I'm starting this post as Christine is in Indiana I believe.
Happy to say that I got through traffic school last night. The course was for 4 hours and by the time I got home I was so exhausted. It took some time for me to relax and go to sleep. This morning I am so tired! I'll be off to bed early tonight but first get in my bubble bath
Tomorrow night I have my support meeting at Alexian and can't wait to see my friends. It seems like such a long time between meetings!
Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful Thursday!
Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning Dee! Sorry to hear that you are under the weather.
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be taking a bubble bath again. I haven't done that since I was a kid. I even bought a bath pillow to rest my head and light a lavender candle (lights turned off), play some soothing music and just relax. It works wonders. Couldn't do it last night as I got home so late after traffic school.
Take care!
Lucy

Good Morning my OH Friends -
Happy Thursday to all. DH and I had a wonderful get away to Eagle Ridge Golf & Spa Resort near Galena, IL. Ahhh.. It was so relaxing being able to sip coffee sitting on the patio overlooking a beautiful golf course instead of sitting here at work. The weather was perfect. DH enjoyed a round of golf while I treated myself to a massage and pedicure. It was so needed and worth it. We all need to treat ourselves from time to time.
Lucy - I too try to get a bubble bath in at least once a week. I prefer more often but seem to run out of time. I bought myself a bath pillow a few weeks back. I get so relaxed that I sometimes fall asleep and then wake up when the water starts cooling off. It's a wonderful way to wind down after a stressful day.
I know what you mean about looking forward to our meetings and seeing friends. Once a month is just too long to wait to see everyone.
Dee - Hope you get to feeling better and the Doc gives you something to help w/ the pain.
Chris - Hope you are having a nice time in Amish Town. Where abouts did you go? My step-father is from Goshen, IN which is a nice quaint Amish Town. Enjoy your time away. Hope you're feeling better too! BTW, I'm looking forward to a little get together. Let me know what I can do to help get this organized. Sounds like a great time.
Everyone else...... Stop lurking! Come say hello.
Have a great day!
Christina

Hi Christina! Sounds like your weekend getaway was a success. YAY!! Sometimes, that is just what is needed.
I am looking forward to our get together at Chris' house. It's a day after my birthday so I can continue with my celebrations
I'm glad the weekend is near and time for some needed rest!
Take care.
Lucy

Christina, oh, I am so looking forward to having a massage in the Dells in late June at Chula Vista.
Fresh coffee right about now sounds so wonderful but I know if I even had a sip I would be wide awake all night. I wonder what else I could do during the night?. . . (as Chris taps the side of her face thinking).
We had lunch in Goshen at the Olympia, a soda fountain place in downtown. I like both Goshen and Elkhart. I could live in either place. Now, if I could only make a living here. I am overskilled for this area.
Take care,
CB
Good Morning everyone!
Everyone seems to be enjoying their bubble baths, as i am just starting my wonderful journy into WLS. Hopfully one of these days i will too be able to enjoy a bubble bath. Hi Brandi -
Sorry I just saw your response from yesterday. Congratulations on taking the first steps to a healthier you. Do you have a surgery date? What type of surgery are you planning to have? If I'm being too nosy, just tell me to shut up or mind my own business. LOL I too only have a single bath so it's nice being able to finally enjoy my "me" time. You will meet great friends on the boards and gain a wealth of knowldge from these folkes. If you have any questions, ask away. Enjoy your weekend. It's going to be beautiful.
