Yeehaa it is Friday!

We will need shades for the next couple of days and it is about time. We have a list a mile long to do today enjoying the countryside, shopping and the good restaurants here. We need to get it all in on Friday and Saturday because Sunday all the shops and stores are closed here in Amish country, that is their church day. Take care, Christine

Good Morning All - Happy Friday!!! I'm soooo glad it's Friday Chris - Hope you and Dave are having a wonderful time away. It's sounds so relaxing and just good country living. Oh how I wish I lived in small log cabin in the woods w/ a bunch of little farm animals. Lucy - Hope you were able to get a bubble bath in. I did not but will need one this weekend. DH and I have a long list of yard work we want to get acomplished this weekend. I'm aching just thinking about it! Dee - Hope your head has calmed down a little and you can at least try to enjoy the weather this weekend. I trust your tests will come back fine next week. Hang in there. Karen - You made it thru a full week of work. I hope your doing well and you did not push yourself too much. Where oh where is everyone else been? Come out, Come out where ever you are! Hi Christina! I am a lurker today... I was too pooped yesterday and didn't get my bubblebath I am dreaming of running away and taking a forever vacation from everything. I am just happy as a lark that the weekend is here! The weather is going to be just to my liking. I may put on my two piece swimsuit on Sunday and relax in the sun. Hey girls and whatever mail lurkers that we may have on the board. Come on out and join us we do not bite, much. The weather here is perfect. 70ish maybe 5 white fluffy clouds in the sky and we just saw those about a 1/2 hour ago. It has been just golorius here. We have done some shopping but mainly for popcorn and cheese. Tomorrow we are going back to a bulk food store and get some shaved ham that we saw and put it in the fridge in our room. We always travel with a cooler for water and can put our cheese and ham in it when we go home. The food here is great. And Dr JR or the LWB staff(I know you are there!) if you are lurking - yes we make fantastic protein choices first. They have half portions at most of the restaurants. I brought part of my dinner back last night and had it as a snack later in the evening when we were back in the room. Dave and I still live for food, it is an integral part of our life. Oh, I want to explain about the play we saw last night. WE TOTALLY GOT IT MIXED UP WITH "Late Night Cathicisim" another great spoof on Catholisim. This play, "Nunsense" was great also. It laughed at the Catholic convent life. It is presented well in an old round barn that was moved to Amish Acres, Nappanee several years ago. I cannot remember how old it is but it is old and well preserved, great venue. We have seen other plays there. Need to move on, Chris seen many of these in the last couple of days and a lot of horse plop, plops. That is what I call horse manure.

Chris, I am so glad you guys are having a good time. I haven't been on the board for a couple days. My grandfather passed away on Monday night, so arrangments were on Wed and Thurs. He was a retired firefighter and he had 10 kids. 3 of which are on the same fire dept that he retired from, so you can only imagine the funeral!! I am SOOOO happy to see the sun and have it shine down on the green grass! I think it's wonderful that you and Dave take time out of your busy life to have fun weekends like this!!! If my husband would only learn that life is to short, that you better enjoy every thing God has given us before you can say"I wish I would have done that or this"!!!! Wish me luck tomorrow!! I'm having 16 little girls at my house for my daughters 5th birthday party. It's from 1-3, and then the family party after that. I WILL be enjoying an ADULT BEVERAGE after 3pm!!!! Thank God my husband took time off from the PD to help me with the party. Well....everyone enjoy the weather and have a super fantastic weekend!! Kim P.S. Hi Kim - I'm very sorry to hear about your grandfather. I'm sorry to hear about the 16 girls you'll have today... LOL Just kidding.
