Got the Ball Rollin' and Need a Little Help!!!!!!

Hey All!! I had my appointment with Dr. Rosette in Skokie today. It went very well he seems to be a great guy and a good dr. Today was my consultation and it went very well. He gave me 3 referrals. One was to see a nutritionist, the other was for a sleep study, and the last one was for a stress test. However, I have no idea where to start. I have medicaid and I don't even know where to go for any of the above. Once again, I need a little light shed on this. You all are the most resourceful set of folks so I figured I'd start here since I got Dr. Rosette's name from this message board. Any suggestions?!?!?!?!?!?! Help...... Dorey T.

Dorey, geez I do not know what to tell you as I am not familiar with Medicaid. Did his office shed or Medicaid shed any light on the situation as to what your first steps are? Chris

If he gave you referrals for those take them to your primary care physician and have them to write referrals to your local hospital and the hospital will let you know when you have to be there to pre-register and then when you have to be there for the testing...my suggestion to you on the stress test though is to do the TREADMILL if you can... the drug induced one is quicker but if you panic at all you're going to think you're dying...I hope that this is of help to you and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask... that's what all of us are here for...to help each other in each and every way that we can...
