It's getting late and no one has started the post so I will take the honors. It's a glorious day. DH and I are about ready to head out and do some nursery shopping. Hope to come home w/ a few new trees, bushes and some perennials. We have a ton of work to do after having 30 trees removed from our yard last fall. It made me so sad to have them removed but they were in very poor shape and just a matter of time before one would fall on our house or a neigbors. And of course, I was not able to get out and work in the yard because of my recent surgery and weighing 404lbs restricts you from getting down on your knees etc.. Gardening is my passion and I'm so glad that I can physically do it again. I tell you, not a day goes by that I don't remind myself how blessed I am to be able to have this second chance at life. Life is good! What does everyone have planned for this wonderful day? Enjoy your Saturday! Christina

Good morning Christina, Wow it sounds like you do have a busy day, and i know the feeling about not getting down on your knees. As i am just beginning my wl journy, i am still there. We have not much planned for today. Thinking about taking my lil boy whos 3 out so he can ride his bike. Other than that, actually i need to be getting caught up on house work.. lol. anyway, hope everyone has a great day. Take care! Brandi

The most wonderful thing about me day is that I ate real food!!!!!! Breakfast was 1/2 scrambled egg and tuna for lunch. I am beginning to feel like a normal person. I have used my treadmill for the past 2 days and am really trying to get more active. I hope everyone;s day is as exciting as mine!

Eating real food for the first time PO I remember that feeling. It was wonderful. I remember that chicken broth right after surgery tasted just a great but there is nothing like chewing food. Chris

Well, how did the shopping and yard work go? I feel kind of guilty in saying that all Dave and I did was walk and shop, NOT! Glorious day here also, did the usual touristy things like took a buggy ride and talked with the locals. Many of them struck up conversations with us. Have a great rest of the weekend all. Chris
