I am back and feeling great......

My lap band surgery went very well on Thursday. I got home about 2:00 yesterday (Friday) and I pretty much snoozed the rest of the day and relaxed. Pain medication is a lifesaver. Today I haven't had to take any and I went outside for a little walk. I am missing my son's first soccer game, baseball game and my daughters first soccer game of the season. There will be many more but I have always enjoyed the first games. My husband will be there to root them on. (I don't know what I would have done without my husband here---he has been absolutely wonderful and let me tell you I am taking advantage of it!!) Dear Marcy: Glad to hear you are doing great, the pain goes away pretty quickly and then you start you journey toward being healthy. I have to say being banded (9/5/06) is one of the best things I have ever done. My husband was also very helpfull and I don't think I could have done this without his support.
