Got my date!!!
I have been reading the posts on this site for a few weeks now and everyone seems so friendly that I just had to let you know that one week from tomorrow, May 1st I will be having surgery. Just like everyone else, it has been a long road to get to this point and I've jumped through a lot of hoops but now I can't wait ( a little nervous too)!!!!!

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! I cannot wait until the day that I am posting the same thing...that I finally got my day. Hopefully, it is not that far away but I am having a time getting over this hump concerning seeing a psychiatrist in my area. After that, it is full speed ahead...OR SO I HOPE!!
I will keep you in my prayers and make sure you keep us updated and post your before and after. I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!

It's time you stop lurking and start meeting some new people that are going thru and or have gone thru the same thing you're about ready to experience. Which procedure are you having? We are all here to meet friends, share expereinces, learn, and support.
The feelings you are having are so normal, excitement followed by fear. A little bit of a roller coaster.
Keep us updated and don't be afraid to ask questions or just pop in and say hello.
