I need Help.............

I am from Ill and I have called around looking for a surgeon that can help me with getting the procedure I have the Illiniois Public Aid card the Medicaid and it is the family care one I have called and talked to them and they said that they cover it might have to get a doctors referal and also saying it is medical ness. I have talked to NOBODY I only get recordings What can I do ? I would love to have this surgery done I have needed something done for many years now Thank you

you may want to go back to some older posting there are several surgeons on the board that some has used with your insurance. How close are you to Chicago or Waukegan? Audrey

ok i also have the IDPA medical card. i am going to see Dr. constatine Frantzides. now he does not take it but he gives a lower price on surgery , so i will be paying out of pocket 7900 but the medical card will cover all the hospital expenses and the pre- op testing...... in case no cash available there is a site www.carecredit.com that might ok you for a loan on surgery. it takes 1 min to do and 2 seconds for them to ok it or deny!! !st call a surgeon to schedule an initial visit. where are you from

I am from southern Ill I don't know if your fimilar with it or not I am from a very small town down south I will have to continue to check out things where is this doctor from that your going to see ? How far would I have to travel ? I have three small children and my husband works and my Mother that babysits for me just found out that she has cancer so it is not good. Call info and ask for University of Chicago and ask for Dr.Vitello....office...they will take you and schedule a consult with you.....I dont have the # and lost it when my hardrive went out. silly me didnt save any to disc....
