My daughter had wls surgery

Hello! Hope this finds everyone in a bright and shinny mood! Ok Right Now! Smile and say "I Love me" I am a good person! I will make it threw this! Really do it while smiling! Well for all know does not know me! My name is Cyndi Brown I live in IL. I had wls RYN 4 yrs ago, went from a size 24 to a 10, I could have been a poster child for wls! But could not have got threw it without my obesity help friends! I shed many tears! Insurance problems, WLS Dr problems ect.. But I just kept on going! Pushing all the way! Now here I am! Healthy and a size 10! My one wish was that one day my only daughter Carissa would someday find the happieness I have with being a normal size! Well April 16, Carissa has her wls in St Louis Mo, Dr Wagnor. She had the same type as I did. She lost 11 lbs her first week! I am so proud that she has done this! Well she has lost 19 lbs since she started her liquid diet the week before wls ! Way to go Carissa! Carissa just knew she was going to die on the table! many times the week before surgery I had to tell her to stop thinking that way! The devil wants to see her stay heavt! The devil likes to see people miserable. One day as I was telling her this I got diconnected! Those stupid cells phones! Of course I called her right back! See the devil had control and did not want me talking positive to her so he arranged for my call to be dropped! Ok You all have a GREAT WEEK! See ya lighter! How exciting! My surgery is scheduled for the 30th. I'm also having Dr. Wagner. I'm so excited, but I'm probably as scared as your daughter was. I just keep giving myself pep talks, and talking with my friends who are "losers" as well. Congrats to Carissa on her loss this far!!! Keep up the good work!!

Don't be scared Everything will be good. I had my surgery at NewStart on March 27th and if you get too freaked out they give you good meds to calm you down. I was not scared until 9 a.m. and my surgery was 9:30 a.m. Everything went well and I am doing pretty good. You will feel so much better after you have it done.

Cyndi, I am so happy that your daughter is on her way to being healthy. It is also great that you are there to help her through her first steps of being PO. Chris
