Good Morning Illinois
Sorry I haven't been around. I am having a open house for my mother's 78th birthday which is May 1st, but since it falls on a weekday, we are having the open house this weekend. I have been running my legs off for it, didn't realize I would have to do everything with having 3 other siblings. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!!
On another note, I am having lunch today with two other Illinoisans, Sandra Jordan, and rnamy72. This should be fun. I am also waiting till after my mother's party to start working on the bariatric picnic. I think that will be so much fun.
Have a great day, gotta run.

Good Morning Dee!
The weather is still crummy here... Lots of rain. The open house sounds like a really nice time and I trust all the hard work your putting into it will all be worth it. It is tough having siblings just sit back and watch it all fall into place. Dont fret, it will all work out. I too am looking forward to hearing more about the picnic.
Have a great lunch/visit w/ your friends.
On a up note, My baby is not out of the woods but they are treating her for tetnas. She is still very sick and weak but at least they have finally diagnosed her and can start treatment. I hope she takes to the treatment.
Have a great day!

Good early evening to you Dee. Right now is the first time I have been able to get on the PC for any length of time. I had a full day early at work. I was asked to go to luncheon a couple of days ago by the Chief's sectretary. I lucked out because one of the deputy chiefs could not make it. It is an organization for all the county's chiefs. Since Wednesday was Secretary's Day all the adminstrative assistants and secretarys get to attend. It was a totally enjoyable lunch and every office lady received some sort of prize and I got two tickets to a play at a local theater. The neat thing about it is that the tickets are for the day of our wedding anniversary, May 11th. Oh, and all the ladies received a vase of flowers.
Sounds like you had a full day and even fuller days ahead with your mom's party. It never fails that one child ends up doing all the work for a parent's birthday party. My husband had the other problem his one sister wanted to completely run the show and dictate what every aspect of it would be. My DH just ended up doing what he wanted to do and if she did not like it he cared less. All the people that came thought everything he did was fantastic. So there little sister the
was great anyways.
Gotta run.
Chris
