Horrendous abdominal pain, any help appreciated
I had RNy in June 2003. At one time a had 2 bowel obstructions, but was taking care of with NG tube, no surgery. Off and on for a year, and more frequent the pass 6 weeks, I have had horrendous pain on right side of abdomen. I know when it is starting, stomache feels like it is blowing up, unzipmy jeans, I get nauseated, shakey, feel like I am going to pass out and have this God awful pain that lastes from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. I ended up in ER a week ago and stayed over night. Had Ct and x-ray of abdomen. They thought I have gallstone stuck in common bile duct, pancreas swollen. Had MRI few days after that. MRI report back today and they say it is possible foramen of Winslow hernia with a small bowel loop in retrogastric region of upper abdomen. Anyone ever hear of this? I go to gastro doctor this Friday, but sounds like I am going to need surgery for this. I just don;t feel good, and sick and tired of being sick and tired!! Sorry this is so long, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks alot and someone please answer soon.....
