Have you considered going to a seminar for a doctor to get the low down on the different surgeries? Consider LifeWeigh Bariatrics. They have an ad in the lower left corner of this page. Their number is 630 261 9393. There are several of us on this board that had Dr Rosen as our surgeon and he does the band. He has a wonderful caring staff that is there to see you succeed and reach your goal of loosing weight. I would have to agree w/ Chris. Your first step is to find a surgeon you feel totally comfortable with. I too have Dr. Rosen as my surgeon and can't say enough wonderful things about him and his team of experts. They are there for the long haul.. Not just the surgery. They have a wonderful support system and really want to see you succeed.

Chris is right! If you are intrested in lap-band Dr Rosen is a really compasionate dr. He did my surgery in March. He explains thing very throughly. His staff is also very kind and knows there stuff. Chris recommended LifeWeigh Bariatrics to me when the first place I was going to closed down. I have been very pleased!
