Been a while

I have been away trying to get all my ducks in a row. I got turned down by insurance but was recently approved for Illinois Medicaid for myself and my family. Does anyone know of any places in Chicago that will take the Medicaid card for WLS?

I had my first consult yesterday with Dr vitello hes at the university of chicago I think theres a few other doctors at the dame place that also take the card. pm me if youd like the info of have any questions about it.

there is Dr. Joseph Vitello...there is also a Dr. Alexander Nagle... I know there are others but can't remember them right off the top of my head...anyway you can scroll down through the list of surgeons in Illinois and find the others and once you get on each site just see what kinds of insurance they accept...or just call each one...that would be a pain but worth it at the same time if you find one... if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.. I hope you find a surgeon that you're more than comfortable with!!!! Ck~

So I called Northwestern and (the Wellness Institute) which is where I had all my consults and Pyche eval and nutrition classes.  They say they dont take PA.  I told them I had already seen already been thru the process and it had been paid for by my prior insurance.  Now I have public aid and they seemed to be confused.  I will wait to hear back from them but Im getting excited!!!!!!!  Thanks
