OMG! I ate the freakin Twinkie!

I am standing in the kitchen and talking with my family and we are cooking. I am cutting up strawberries for strawberry short cake. I put some aside for me as I don't add sugar on mine. My family loves to use twinkies for the cake part. Ok, so we are standing and talking and all of the sudden my family has this look on their faces like I have something hanging from my nose. What is up with this? I look down and without even thinking I had unwrapped a twinkie and had it almost all gone. One or two bites left. OMG, what is going on? It had to be tempory insanity, no it's my age, yep that is it. I am so old my brain cells died and I didn't know what I was doing. I was so mad and shakin, geez a sugar dump already? I will have to post at the gym it was temporary insanity!!!! I threw what was left in the garbage bin and told my son to take the trash out before that twinkie crawls out and comes after me. I run upstairs and stood in front of the mirror. OMG, there it was! YEP, just to the right of my new belly button. As big as life, a lump the shape of a twinkie (minus a bite of two). It was there in all it's glory. Growing? Yep, the cream in the twinkie was movin around like an alien in my body. I just knew it was going to explode out of me. Or worst, it will stay there for ever. Ok, I am going to call my Plastic Surgeon on Monday and blame him. Yep, shhhhh don't say anything. I will tell him it's the mother of all hernias or he must have left something in there shaped like a twinkie. No, he won't believe it's one of my implants??? He will have to do emergency surgery and remove it as I know it's not moving through my body. It's staying there for all time!!!!! Lord give me strength but hurry!!!!! Take care, Kathy

Maybe when you wake up it will all have been a nightmare? I think its easy to slip in old ways before we realize we are (or in my case will be) a different person. I will send you some stregnth today Did you end up dumping?

Hi Sandra, I didn't dump. But my tummy let me know this was not enjoyable. I don't even like twinkies. That is what is so funny, now if we were talking about chocolate then yea. I do find I still get sick with anything that may be greasy. But sugar doesn't seem to bother me as much....to bad. I need to just say no. Yea right!!! Take care, Kathy ps..thanks for the strength

For me even pre op Twinkies sat like a lump in my stomach. Now with being PO I am sure that it would be much worse. You just reminded me why I should continue to stay away from those evil things! Chris
