Finally a looser.

Well, I am home today. I had my surgery on Tuesday this week. I have some pain in my gut and also in my lower back. Is this normal and how lond does it usualy last? I am sooo glad to be home in my own bed and recliner. Mike

Hi Mike - Welcome home and congratulations to making to the other side. Yes, the pain is normal, continue to take your pain meds and if it does get too uncomfortable, you need to contact your surgeon. It took me about a week to feel pretty good. It takes some people longer, some a shorter time period. Just remember, you just had major surgery so your body is going to be adjusting to some major changes. Get some rest. Christina
