Ok! the nerves are setting in .....................

My appointment is in 48 hours exactly and i am so nervous.......... this is crazy but because my nerves are so bad and i am stressed out anyways i have dropped 5 pounds because i just dont feel like eating!? but then it put me down to 228 and now that dropped my bmi to 39.3 and what if he thinks i am not qualifying???? wow .......i can rack my brain!............and does anyone know the easiest way to get to dr. granyzides's office in skokie????????

I don't know where you are coming from, but he is right off the Eden's Expressway. Get off at Old Orchard Rd and go east at the exit. Enter the Old Orchard shopping mall at the light passed the gas station. There is underground parking, close to Toms Price furniture and California Pizza. Park down there and go to the elevator, go to the 4th floor. I hope this helps. Good luck Shar

Dr Frantzides is so awesome you will be fine!!!! I have my appointment at 1 pm on Thursday!! I hope the scale shows how good I feel!! I have a hard time finding the underground parking so I park in the lot next to bloomingdales and then walk to the office you follow the signs! I had no ideal the first time I went that it was in a mall!! I took 294 to touhy because dempster is closed and then followed the detour signs back to dempster it is right at golf rd and skokie and old orchard the easiest way for me to map quest it was to use Bloomingdale's address! the office is right across from Starbucks. good luck at your meeting!!!

Good luck at your apt. It will go great im sure. ive heard nothing but great things about Dr. F I have spoken several times to his staff and they are great. Keep us posted.

Take a deep breath Kellie... You will be just fine. Tell that committee that's in your head to chill, you are in control. Please give us an update when you finish w/ your appointment. This is a very stressful but exciting time for you. The emotions can really get you crazy so try to stay focused on the end result. ((Hugs)) Christina

Good Luck on your appointment, I am sure you will do just fine. I am not sure the rules on the lap band, but for the gastric bypass for my insurance company their rule is a BMI 40 or higher or 35 or higher with 2 co morbidities. Also the 6 month diet plan, hopefully you won't have to do that. Try not to stress, be excited, you are on your way to being healthier, and happier. Keep us updated! Good Luck again.
