Friday's Roll Call . . .

What's cooking for the weekend? 33 years ago today Dave and I woke up to it raining cats and dogs. It cleared enough for me to get into my mom and dad's Caddie to be driven to the church but during the exchanging of the vows the sun came out and was streaming through the windows. It was like saying that God was shining down on this union and totally approving! Come on in and tell all what you are doing this weekend. Are ya flying around getting springtime things done or are ya chillin' with the family on the driveway watching cars go by? And of course it is Mom's day so make sure that you honor her. Chris ps - the day after our wedding it was frickn' freezing, down to 40 and damp. My in-laws even skipped the Cubs game and went home to Iowa. They were dye hard fans and would not usually miss going to a game when here but this time they went home.

Happy Anniversary Chris and Dave! OK, what's cooking for the weekend? Tomorrow is my usual get together with my sister. I'm going to her house after my weigh****chers meeting. I haven't decided whether I am going to weigh in or not. I'll check the scale tomorrow morning and then decide! Saturday night will be some quiet time for me. Sunday I've got two activities planned. First, I'm going to meet someone from eHarmony (yes, another one!) for coffee at Panera in the morning. I'm going into this one feeling reserved with no expectations. That way I won't be so disappointed. The only thing I can say about these one-time dates, is that I'm getting experience! In the afternoon, I'm off to my sister's house again to celebrate Mother's Day. My mom is coming over to celebrate. The next few weeks at work are going to be taxing to say the least. Happy Friday to all!! Yahoo. We made it thru another work week. Happy Anniversary to Chris & Dave!! Have a great time at the play tonight. I feel like a broken record when it comes to my weekend plans. More yard work. Tomorrow I'm tilling up the front yard. Calvin conveniently is working. I better not find him at the golf course! My arms are already hurting just thinking about that tiller jerking me around. I got my "Mothers Day" gift last night. Calvin asked me about a week ago what I wanted for mothers day and I told him a new tree for the front yard. Well... I got golf clubs instead. They are pretty. I think he had a motive because he came home w/ two new drivers for his golf trip next week. God love him.. LOL He said we are going to go hit some balls on Sunday but after tilling tomorrow, I'm not sure I will be able to move. We shall see. Hope everyone has a great day!!!! Christina

Happy Friday to all!! Happy anniversary Chris and Dave!!! That is WONDERFUL!!!! I've been married 8 years this Aug. Boy, have we had our ups and downs!!! This weekend is busy as usual! Soccer games, yard work and some where in there, I'm going to try to take a hour or so for myself becuase it's mothers day! Sunday I am going to church and then picking my dad up at the airport, then we are all off to my parents house to celebrate mothers day! It's a tradition that we all plant flowers in my parents yard on that day! They have 3 acres and we cookout and get dirty! Sorry I have'nt been on the board latley. The computer is in my husbands room and he sleeps during the day, so I can't be on it during the day! Only in the early morning and at night. My husband sleeps in the spare bedroom, so I can put clothes away and so stuff in there with out bothering him. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Kim

My hubby and I have to take the car into the dealer for some work tomorrow and Sunday I'll spend connecting w/my girls ( I have 4) at one time or another for Mom's day and another lecture about the dangers of WLS in my situation. It would be nice if they could all gang up on me at once, then it would be over and done with for another day! LOL!! I'm thankful that they care. We just have a small patio garden so my hubby has got that all fixed up already so later we'll just chill w/the dog and enjoy the spring weather. Happy Mom's day to all!-Janet K
