I can get going again

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say that I have had my heart surgury, and my cardio Dr. told me he will approve me to submit for lapband in 6 to 8 weeks from now. I learned that my heart was so bad, that had I continued on the path to labband, I probaly would be dead. So, thanks to the decision to go for this, I was forced to deal with the heart valve. I guess the decision to go for lap band, literly saved my life. I am still extreamly weak, not able to do anything without the walker, and some breathing problems, but I am home and that is the main thing! I do have home health coming in as well as physical theropy, so, hopefully I will be able to get back on track. Lisa

Hi Lisa - Great news! Glad you hear you're doing well. Just take things one day at a time sweetie.. I know you want the wls and you will but just listen to your body. You don't want to have it too quickly. ((Hugs)) Christina
